Restoration
We do restoration primarily on pieces that are no longer available or that have great sentimental value. We also do restoration on pieces when it is economically feasible. As you can imagine pieces with multiple breaks and fractures can eat up a lot of man-hours to make the necessary repairs. The cost could easily exceed the price of a new or comparable piece. However pieces with minor breaks such as heads, arms, feet, bases, etc. can usually be fixed relatively easily. Even statues with missing pieces can be filled and re-sculpted to near original form. We can repair gypsum, polyresin, cement, ceramic, and stone based products. We also do minor repairs such as paint touch ups and patina touch ups however our work on bronze pieces is limited. Pieces that need brazed or new patinas should go to a foundry or restoration specialist. Every job is unique unto itself.
